Functional skills

Functional skills are nationally recognised qualifications in Maths, English and Digital skills. You or your child can take a course and exam at numerous levels to suit. With Entry Level 1, Entry Level 2, Entry Level 3, Level 1, Level 2. Level 2 is recognised as a GCSE Level 4 or above

This qualification looks at everyday skills used within the topic. 

Assessment is exam based. We offer exams in our space in Accrington or remotely from home. We need 7 days notice for exams and they can be taken at a time to suit, just get in contact.

We also have access to free initial assessment tools, diagnostics, and ongoing learning materials online. The initial assessment tool tells you what level you/ your child is achieving in relation to the functional skills exams. You can also see which areas your child needs to learn more to achieve the relevant qualification.
